Resume /Artist Statement ARTIST’S STATEMENT There is no separation between my life and my work as an artist. I look to nature for my inspiration. Nature’s garden is my visual imagery. Experimentation and improvisation is my visual vocabulary. I have always been an artist, as a small child my father encouraged my work. Painting to me is a positive experience; it gives me such pleasure when I create my art. At a time when we are pressured with so much negativity and stress, I want my work to remind my audience about a sense of hope and peace in nature. At the moment I am creating, I find my true self and I become one with nature. My work stems from a strong foundation In Abstractionism with collage. I paint at times brushless, pouring the paint and experiencing the accident. I try to keep it loose and gestural. The strength in my work is about color, which reflects the different mood phases of my life. My art is an adventure I never know where it will take me.
